⏳ Time is stopped until you decide. There is no clock — only the choice.
The game hit an error and stopped the clock to protect your career. Your progress is saved in this browser. Export a backup, then reload.
What happened? What did you expect? Your save exports automatically so it can travel with the report.
Where money comes from. Your users pay you automatically each week: revenue = users × conversion rate × price. Conversion rises with PMF, Quality, feature depth, and (later) Sales Reps. You don't "sell" manually — you build a product worth paying for, and get users in front of it.
Your first year. 1) Build features (Product actions) — they raise Quality and PMF. 2) Grow users with Community Building — paid marketing mostly leaks until PMF ≥ 40 (the hint on each card tells you). 3) Watch Runway in the bottom bar; bootstrap or raise Friends & Family before it hits zero. Reaching PMF 40 + Quality 45 unlocks the next stage and real funding.
Time moves when you build — or when you profit. Like Clash of Clans: queue work — a feature, a course, a campaign — and it takes real time to finish. Nothing queued? The clock stops: no burn, no risk, think as long as you like. Except when you're profitable — then the business runs itself and money accrues even while you idle (or leave: come back to a "while you were away" report). If the margin ever flips negative with nothing queued, the clock freezes and waits for you.
The world is clickable. Click people → resume, training, or letting them go. Click rooms → amenities and upgrades (every perk gives and takes). Click dashed plots → build departments. Time pauses while any window is open, and ⏸ Pause is always there.
Going broke isn't game over. In the red, people lose faith and the least loyal quit; at −$10,000 you choose: bridge round, downsize, pivot, acquihire, or close. And closing a company doesn't end the game — your founder carries every skill and contact into the next chapter.
